Earl Mountbatten Hospice’s Walk the Wight – Sunday 13th May 2018
Now in its 28th year, Earl Mountbatten Hospice’s unique and world famous walk annually attracts thousands of people to walk across the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside to raise money in support of patient and family care provided by Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
Founded by Bill Bradley & Frank Stevens, what started out as a small team building exercise for Morey’s staff has grown to become the largest fundraising event on the Island and the largest sponsored walk of its kind in Europe.
Earl Mountbatten Hospice’s Walk the Wight is a collection of 4 walks and distances. Choose yours:
Full Walk: 26.5 miles Bembridge to Alum Bay (approx. 8-12 hrs walking time*)
1st Half: 12.5 miles Bembridge to Carisbrooke (approx. 4-6 hrs walking time*)
2nd Half: 14 miles Carisbrooke to Alum Bay (approx. 5-8 hrs walking time*)
Flat Walk: 8 miles Sandown to Shide (approx. 2-4 hrs walking time*)
