At Northcourt, we are passionate about celebrating the Isle of Wight’s rich culinary heritage. By supporting local food producers, we enjoy fresher, tastier food and contribute to our community’s sustainability and prosperity. From farm shops brimming with fresh produce to doorstep deliveries of gourmet delights, the Isle of Wight is a food lover’s paradise.

Buying Local
The Isle of Wight boasts a plethora of farm shops and local producers, each offering a unique taste of the island’s bounty. In Shorwell, we’re fortunate to have Beef and Berry and the Isle of Wight Meat Co, both renowned for their high-quality, locally sourced meats, bread, pastries, fruit and vegetables. Brighstone Village Shop is close by with fresh produce, dairy and everyday essentials.

Deliveries to Your Door
Isle of Wight Tomatoes, J & B Fisheries, Living Larder and Grace’s Bakery all deliver directly, bringing the Island’s best tomatoes, fish, veg boxes and baked goods straight to your kitchen.

Farm Shops & Food Halls
Harvey Browns and Briddlesford Farm are just two of the Island’s standout food destinations, offering everything from vegetables and dairy to meat, bread and wine.

Supermarkets in Newport, East Cowes, Ryde and Freshwater complement these local suppliers with everyday essentials and additional delivery services.

Local Charcoal for the Summer Season

We now supply local lumpwood charcoal, which you can purchase to meet your barbecuing needs. Withywood manages woodland restoration projects here on the Isle of Wight, and your purchase will help continue this sustainable practice and support a local rural business.

Unlike briquettes, lumpwood charcoal contains no additives or fillers and is preferred by chefs and aficionados for its purity. It burns hotter and is easier to light.

Bags are priced at £9 for 2kg and can be purchased by scanning a QR code. All proceeds (less VAT) go directly to Withywood.

Savouring Island Vibes: Coffee Delights at Northcourt

At Northcourt, we understand that coffee is not just a beverage; it’s an art form. Our properties are equipped with quality coffee machines so you can craft frothy lattes, velvety cappuccinos or bold espressos and wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

We use beans from Island Roasted, a local roastery that shares our passion for flavour and quality, complemented by Isle of Wight milk for a creamy, local touch.

Beyond Northcourt, the Island offers a vibrant coffee culture: Freshwater Coffee House, the Piano Café, PO41 in Yarmouth, The Garlic Farm, Chessell Pottery, Café Isola, ComiCoffee and many more provide wonderful spots to relax with a cup in hand.

Whether you’re sipping a perfect latte at Northcourt or exploring the Island’s coffee nooks, your taste buds are in for a treat.
