Little Northcourt was originally built as the servant quarters, it was remodelled in 1905, modernised in 2010 and subject to continued improvements. The heritage property now provides quality, homely self-contained accommodation for 14 adults (+ 2 beds for children), with 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.
The ground floor includes an entrance hallway/dining room with seating for up to 14 (with drop-leaf table added); a fully equipped kitchen with range cooker; breakfast room with seating for 10; living room with open fire, smart TV (with Netflix), comfortable chairs, piano and games table; sunroom onto the garden; and ground floor bedroom with adjoining bathroom. Flagstone flooring occurs throughout the ground floor, and we allow up to two well-trained pets.
The first floor includes four bedrooms with ensuite or adjoining bathrooms and one further bedroom with a separate bathroom. A locked doorway from this floor provides access into Northcourt House (only if both properties are rented together).
The second floor includes a family bedroom with one double bed and two single beds, a separate bathroom, a playroom with a pool table and table tennis.
Externally, the property benefits from a south-facing, private, enclosed walled garden with lawn and herbaceous borders, accessible from the sunroom and breakfast room and gate to the drive. The paddock at the front of the house can be used for barbecues, ball games, informal play, and dog walking (shared with Northcourt House). Access to the wider 15-acre manor gardens and the grass tennis court is welcome at certain times of the day. Parking is provided alongside the drive <20m from the front of the house.
Linen is provided throughout the property, with fresh sheets, bath towels, hand towels and tea towels. During the winter months, the open fire is pre-laid with paper, kindling and logs, with a complimentary basket of logs provided for guests. Further seasoned logs from the estate are available to purchase. Electricity and heating are included as standard.
Free high-speed fibre broadband is available from a centrally located wi-fi hub.
